Creative Care Package for Terminally Ill Children
Having to spend time in a hospital is never fun if you're an adult, but having to spend time in a hospital as a child is even worse. Pages for Children is determined to help terminally ill children be happier in a trying situation.
Even with today's technology, there is only so much TV and video games a child can play. We want to give them something that is not only fun, educational and entertaining, we want to give them something that allows them to exercise their minds since some cannot exercise their bodies.
Each Creative Care Package consist of a drawing set, with crayons, paint, markers, watercolors and colored pencils; a drawing paper pad; a coloring book, a puzzle book and a reading book. Each package is especially designed by age groups to insure each child is given items that best fit their individual need.
While we would love to hand deliver each gift, due to strict privacy policies we are unable to. We have to let the nurses represent Pages for Children on our behalf.
